Naturopathic Doctor

About Dr. Woodall

Charity Woodall, ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor dedicated to treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of health concerns. Her passion is helping infants and children create a healthy foundation for a life full of wellness.

Areas of special interest include, pediatrics, digestive disorders, mood and behavioral issues, allergies and acute illnesses.

Dr. Woodall seeks to identify and treat the root cause of her patients’ symptoms or health challenges. In addition to a detailed health history, conventional and specialty lab testing may be used to uncover that cause. Guided by these results, as well as each patient’s unique health goals, Dr. Woodall uses herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, nutritional supplements, homeopathy and lifestyle counseling in her approach to patient care.

Growing up, Dr. Woodall always had an interest in medicine, but was increasingly disheartened by the over-medicalization of every aspect of health in the conventional medical model. She had been intrigued by other cultures’ use of herbs and traditional healing methods during her undergraduate studies in anthropology, but it wasn’t until she embarked on her own health journey that she learned of naturopathic medicine. Discovering that she could combine the body’s inherent system of healing itself, traditional therapies, and modern science reignited her interest in medicine. While working in biochemical and neuroscience research at the University of Houston and Florida State University, she completed her pre-medical training. In 2014, Dr. Woodall earned her doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Woodall joined the Massachusetts Society of Naturopathic Doctors in 2017 and has been a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Doctors since 2013. She is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in Washington State.

Dr. Woodall and her husband, Ron fell in love with New England while scouting potential Army Corps positions for Ron upon Dr. Woodall’s graduation. They were lucky enough to relocate to Massachusetts in 2016 with their 2 children. They love exploring the rich history of the area, getting out in nature for a hike in the woods or a day at the beach.
